A quality and governance consultancy organisation with a difference. We employ a small dedicated team who work alongside one another to offer stability, answers, direction and support to services who need it. We offer a range of services and are happy to support in anyway we can.

Our story

JakeW Quality Software Ltd and JakeW Consultancy Ltd have jointly developed a risk and quality oversight system to support all care settings that support people, to ensure their services maintain regulatory compliance.

This system has been developed by those with experience of working within CQC and social care settings — people who understand first-hand the difficulties of managing locations and organisations, maintaining oversight, regulatory compliance and managing budgets within the ever-changing and financially pressured social care sector.

Our Team

Jake

Our ideas and solutions expert. Jake supports services in finding solutions to their regulatory and compliance issues. Trying to find simple solutions to complicated problems and always thinking of new ways to support services.
Jake is an experienced Adult Social Care inspector with CQC. Previously to Jake being employed at CQC he has worked in both quality and operations across multiple services and service types. Been a registered manager multiple times and began his carer as a support worker. Jake has 20+ years’ experience working in the social care sector.

Ese Director/Administrator

Our behind the scenes secret weapon. Ese fulfils a number of admin related tasks for the organisation and ensures the organisation continues to perform and offer a high quality service to our clients. Ese has worked in social care for 15+ years with most of these years being spent working with adults with learning disabilities. Ese has management experience and is experienced in setting up and developing new social care services and staff teams. Ese has a BA (Hons) degree in Applied Social Care, Health and Community Studies.

Gemma

Our regulatory expert. Gemma has 12 years working within CQC as an inspector. Working across both Adult Social Care and Mental Health services. Gemma has extensive knowledge and experience of CQC enforcement procedures, including evidence gathering, writing varying levels of CQC enforcement and attending First Tier Tribunals. Using her experience Gemma supports managers to develop and grow within their roles, supports to explain regulations into an easy to understand manner, completes mock inspections, quality audits,CQC enforcement responses and other targeted pieces of work where needed. Gemma is a qualified Occupational Therapist of 20+ years and prior to this supported people in their own home, registered locations and day services.

Amy

Our Team Managing expert. Supporting teams to grow, develop and embrace new ways of working. Amy offers hand on coaching to team members to help them to develop and strengthen their skills.
Supports with digital transformations, auditing, care plan creation and reviewing.
Amy has 20+ years of experience within the social care sector – including supporting adults of all ages with various communication methods, physical abilities and individual support needs. Amy is an experienced supervisor of staff and has a natural ability of getting the best out of people.
